"How to Make A Shelter a Home"
Project "Spruce Up" is a campain to refurbish our women's shelter in Amesbury, MA. Our Shelter is called Safe Recovery and has become a model for other shelters in the state. Safe Recovery is a residential treatment program for women with children who are in recovery from trauma and addiction. It is funded by the Department of Social Services. It is a 1 year program that provides a safe haven where our clients can heal from a devastating cycle of domestic violence that none of us could ever imagine.
Turning Point, Inc. would like to partner with you to provide a healthier environment for our shelter. The “Sprucing Up” Campaign goal is $100,000averaging $5000 per room. The resources, provided within the contract with Social Services, do not allow for refurbishing as an expenditure. The results gained by your donation would greatly aid our treatment program and provide women and children with a level of dignity and purpose to their shattered lives.
TPI Board of Directors and Chase & Lunt Insurance has started up the campaign by each adopting a room. Thank You for your generous donation.
