    Schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
    Responsibilities Job Summary: • Directly supports three adult women and one adult man who are moderate to high functioning, intellectually & developmentally disabled with varied support needs • Provides staff direction, supervision, and training as well as working directly to support the individuals served • Responsible for ensuring the individual’s safety inside the group home and out in the community • Performs scheduling, time reporting, fiscal management, coordination of community activities, family member interaction, record keeping and team meeting facilitation, along with monthly staff meetings • Will work a full time schedule from 9:00am – 5:00pm on a Monday - Friday basis, must carry cell phone with 24x7 on call responsibility • Will manage a large staff of direct support employees
    Education/Experience Requirements Qualifications • Prior residential DDS/DMH program management experience, including prior direct support staff supervision in the areas of scheduling, interviewing/selection, training and development, and addressing workplace employees relations issues • Proven ability to work effectively with family members • Strong communication/interpersonal and leadership skills • Experience working with behavior plans for individuals with challenging behaviors is a must • Must be a strong advocate to promote and provide community activity supports • Knowledge of First Aid, CPR, and MAP (Medication Administration) • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

    • Dependable, team oriented and committed to providing highest level of quality care to the individuals supported
    Physical Demands
    • Must have the physical ability to stand frequently during the day, engage in repeated stooping or bending at the waist
    • Ability to go up and down stairs several times during the shift
    • Must be able to safely support, pivot, physically move or assist a person weighing up to 100+ lbs., during daily living activities, with or without assistance
    • Must be able to physically ensure the safety of all individuals in the program by participating in established behavioral interventions, as required
    • Ability to drive 4-6 passenger van for transportation of individuals to day programs, community activities and other engagements, as required
