Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist - Merrimack Valley

The Opportunity:

• Work in group home setting to teach, empower, and foster self-confidence and self-reliance
• Receive training and administer individualized behavior plans while working closely with our clinical and nursing teams
• Engage in recreational outings and other activities and hobbies enjoyed by our individuals
• Provide transportation to recreational activities, medical and other appointments
• Assist with household chores

Necessary Experience and Skills:

• Passion for working with others; learning, understanding and supporting our client’s diagnoses, treatment plans and individual goals
• Valid driver’s license, high school diploma/ (GED) or higher education and reliable transportation
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Keen observation, active listening and an assertive nature
• Attention to detail and the ability to learn, follow and execute client plans and goals
• Ability to work with others
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
