Direct Support -- Autistic Program – North Shore
The Opportunity:
- Work in group home setting to teach, empower, foster self-confidence and self-reliance
- Attend comprehensive training in order to effectively instruct individuals on life skills, administer individualized behavior and treatment plans supporting the individual’s intellectual, emotional and social goals
- Use your creativity and experience to productively manage individuals with autistic challenges
- Extensive company paid classroom and on the job training will be provided
Necessary Experience and Skills:
- Prior Direct Support residential experience or closely related experience working with individuals with autistic spectrum disorders
- Driver’s license, high school diploma/ (GED) or higher education and reliable transportation
- Availability to attend a wide variety of trainings, team meetings, and monthly staff meetings
- Ability to pass human services certifications including MAP and PABC
