Direct Support -- Autistic Program – North Shore

The Opportunity:

  • Work in group home setting to teach, empower, foster self-confidence and self-reliance
  • Attend comprehensive training in order to effectively instruct individuals on life skills, administer individualized behavior and treatment plans supporting the individual’s intellectual, emotional and social goals
  • Use your creativity and experience to productively manage individuals with autistic challenges
  • Extensive company paid classroom and on the job training will be provided

Necessary Experience and Skills:

  • Prior Direct Support residential experience or closely related experience working with individuals with autistic spectrum disorders
  • Driver’s license, high school diploma/ (GED) or higher education and reliable transportation
  • Availability to attend a wide variety of trainings, team meetings, and monthly staff meetings
  • Ability to pass human services certifications including MAP and PABC
