Part-Time Recruiter

Responsibilities:

1.      Utilizes proactive and innovative recruiting techniques, including but not limited to direct solicitation, on-line job boards, internet searches, networking, company website, to build a diverse pipeline of candidates

2.      Investigates and implement alternative sourcing options (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, internet searches, industry sites, etc.) to increase flow of qualified candidates

3.      Develops relationships with local colleges/universities to obtain interns, alumni, and current students to fill internal openings

4.      Sources, pre-screens and interviews candidates from both internal and external sources for general competency, applicable background and skills, and organizational fit

5.      Provides applicants with pre-employment information regarding job requirements, location, wages, benefits, allowances and employment policies

6.      Reviews position requirements with management to determine applicant requirements

7.      Refers candidates for interviews based on information developed through in personal and phone interviews, resumes and applications

8.      Attends college, career and industry job fairs and other recruiting events

9.      Provides recruitment data for reports and analysis as requested.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree preferred

At least 4+ years of Human Resources recruitment experience in a fast-paced, growing organization doing high volume nonexempt recruiting including using social media and other recruitment techniques to successfully hire qualified candidates

Recruitment experience in a nonprofit, human service environment is highly desired

Highly organized with strong marketing and follow-up skills

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and time management skills to handle multiple priorities

Enthusiastic, high energy team player with a natural ability to promote positive work relationships

Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills to promote Turning Point, Inc. and career opportunities to potential employees

Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Outlook and/or Google email
