    Schedule Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
    Responsibilities This is a hands-on management position responsible for the supervision and direct support of four low to moderate functioning, intellectually disabled adult men who are deaf/hard of hearing, with varied needs, including behavioral and medical supports. Responsibilities: Includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the group residence, including the supervision, hiring, scheduling and training of staff. Responsibilities also include: community activities and medical appointment with group home residents, interaction with family members, medication administration/upkeep, working closely with the Program Nurse, fiscal management, administrative systems, paperwork and record keeping. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Outlook email is desired. The Program Manager will be required to carry a cell phone with 24 X 7 on call responsibility.
    Education/Experience Requirements Qualifications: Prior Program Manager experience with individuals having intellectual disabilities. Proven ability to work effectively with family members. Knowledge of ASL is strongly preferred. Strong communication/interpersonal and leadership abilities are necessary. Knowledge of basic behavior plans is preferred. Candidates must have current certification in CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration (MAP).

    Physical Demands •Must have the physical ability to stand frequently during the day, engage in repeated stooping or bending at the waist •Ability to go up and down stairs several times during the shift •Must be able to safely support, pivot, physically move or assist a person weighing up to 100+ lbs., during daily living activities, with or without assistance •Must be able to physically ensure the safety of all individuals in the program by participating in established behavioral interventions, as required •Ability to drive 4-6 passenger van for transportation of individuals to day programs, community activities and other engagements, as required
